Following the fall state
cup sucesses of the U18 Boys U18 Girls teams that brought home state
championships this year, the U13 Girls brought home the final state cup
medals as the Upstate Soccer Alliance at
the Spring 2010 Presidents Medal State Cup by making the to the
championship game. They fell just a goal short of their quest for
a state championship in that final match, but represented themselves
and the club extremely well. Well done ladies!!
Our Fall 2010 Academy
Evaluations/Select Team tryouts will begin on May
10, 2010 and we are currently registering players at
www.carolinaelitesc.com there is a $30.00 per player evaluation/tryout
fee that should be paid upon completion of the online evaluation/tryout
form. Players wishing to be evaluated for inclusion in our Academy
Program or Select Program should specify CESA- Spartanburg as the club
they will be attending for evaluations/tryouts when registering which
will allow our staff to have all necessary player information on hand
when the evaluation/tryout dates begin at the USA Complex. We will
release our CESA-Spartanburg staff for the 2010-2011 year on May 8,
2010 and we will have a full staff on hand to ensure a professionally
run process will be adhered to as we begin the process of selecting and
forming Academy/Select teams. CESA-Spartanburg will offer professional
goalkeeper training for all our teams and will have the goalkeeping
staff on hand throughout the Evaluation/Tryout period. It is worth
noting that the $30.00 per player fee charged for Evaluations/tryouts
will be taken off the total cost of the CESA-Spartanburg Club Dues and
therefore credited back to each player when they accept a position on a
CESA-Spartanburg team.
CESA-Spartanburg is an Adidas sponsored club and will begin a
three-year uniform cycle this coming fall. The uniform will include 2
Jerseys (Black and Red), 2 Shorts (Black and White), 3 Pairs of Socks
(Black, Red and White) and a Black Adidas Pullover/Hoodie. The uniform
cost is $190.00 per player and the official uniform vendor for CESA is
Lloyd’s Soccer of Greenville.
CESA-Spartanburg Club Dues at the Academy level under 9-Under 12
Boys/Girls will include SCYSA Player Registration, CESA Developmental
Academy League Fee, All League Referee Fees, Training Fees, Additional
Technical Training Sessions, Professional Goalkeeper Training, Winter
Indoor Training/Games, CESA Training Jersey and Adidas Academy Festival
Entry for the spring 2011 event. CESA-Spartanburg Academy Club dues are
$900.00 per player for 2010-2011 year (Total includes both fall 2010
and Spring 2011). Our Academy teams will train twice per week and fees
not included in the club dues are team related expenses, which include
coach’s travel/lodging and food costs for tournaments and events
throughout the year. Each Academy team treasurer will present a
detailed budget to the team members at the beginning of the season.
CESA- Spartanburg Club Dues at the Select (Classic) Under 13-18 level
will include SCYSA Player Registration, SCYSA League Fees, SCYSA State
Cup Entry Fees, All League Referee Fees, Training Fees, Professional
Goalkeeper Training, CESA Training Jersey and an open training policy
which allows CESA members to train with other CESA teams without
additional cost. CESA-Spartanburg (Classic) level select team dues are
$450.00 per player for Under 15-18 fall season only teams and $850.00
per player for Under 13-14 (Two season teams). Our Classic level teams
will train twice per week and fees not included in the club dues are
team related expenses, which include coach’s travel/lodging and food
costs for tournaments and events, as well as, additional entry fees for
tournaments that the individual teams attend throughout the year.
CESA-Spartanburg Club Dues at the Select (Challenge) Under 13-18 level
will include SCYSA Player Registration, SCYSA League Fees, SCYSA State
Cup Entry Fees, All League Referee Fees, Training Fees, Professional
Goalkeeper Training, CESA Training Jersey and an open training policy,
which allows CESA members to train with other CESA teams without
additional cost. CESA – Spartanburg (Challenge) level select team dues
are $675.00 per player for Under 15-18 fall season only teams and
$1300.00 per player for Under 13-14 (Two season teams). Our Challenge
level teams will train three times per week and fees not included in
the club dues are team related expenses, which involve coach’s
travel/lodging and food costs for tournaments and events, as well as,
additional entry fees for tournaments that the individual teams attend.
CESA-Spartanburg offers a 10% discount to those members who choose to
pay the FULL AMOUNT of their Club Dues upfront. In addition those
member families with multiple children playing in the Academy/Select
Programs will receive the following:
Families with 2 children playing within the Academy/Select programs
will receive a 10% discount on their overall Club Dues.
Families with 3 children playing within the Academy/Select programs
will receive a 20% discount on their overall Club Dues.
Families with more than 3 children playing within the Academy/Select
programs will receive a 25% discount on their overall Club Dues.
Multiple Child families who wish to pay the FULL AMOUNT of their Club
Dues up front are also eligible to receive the 10% Upfront Fee Discount
in addition to the Multiple Player Discount.
CESA-Spartanburg will offer financial aid to those families who are
able to show the need for this assistance.
CESA-Spartanburg members wishing to apply for financial aid to cover
the cost of (Training Fees Only) must download, complete and turn in to
the CESA office the 2010-2011 Financial Assistance Forms no later than
May 20, 2010. Each application must be fully complete with all
necessary accompanying paperwork before being reviewed for potential
acceptance by the CESA Scholarship Committee. Forms can be found at
