Cocoa Beach, FL – May 30, 2006 – Space Coast Cup
The U12-G Hurricanes stormed into Cocoa Beach, Florida over the Memorial Day weekend to participate in the Space Coast Cup at the Cocoa Expo. They won their bracket with wins against Mega Fusion (2-1, the eventual tournament champion) and Creeks Clash (3-2) and a tie against the Boynton Beach Allstars (3-3).
Their quest for the championship came to an end In the semi-finals when they were edged out by Lakeland Soccer Club by a score of 2-1. The Hurricanes represented themselves, our club, and our state extremely well. Congratulations Ladies on a job well done.
